SMS terms

These terms cover text messages sent by SimpleInvite. They are written for the person receiving one.

Program name

SimpleInvite, operated by Bangarang Apps LLC.

What the program sends

SimpleInvite sends event invitations, answer confirmations, reminders and event updates on behalf of a named host to the guests that host has added. A guest replies Y or N to answer. There is no marketing or promotional content in this program.

Every message names the host who invited you — someone who has your number and added you to their event.

How you came to receive one

Your number reached us because a host you know entered it when inviting you, and confirmed they have your permission to send you a text invitation. Replying to an invitation is your consent to receive the rest of the messages about that event.

How often

Message frequency varies by event; typically 1 to 4 messages per event. A guest who never answers receives at most one reminder.

Cost

Message and data rates may apply.

SimpleInvite does not charge guests for these messages.

How to stop

Reply STOP to any message to end texts from SimpleInvite. This applies to every host, not only the one who invited you, and takes effect straight away. We send one confirmation and then nothing further. Reply START to begin receiving them again.

How to get help

Reply HELP to any message for help, or write to help@simpleinvite.app. A person reads every message.

Delivery

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery depends on your carrier and on your handset.

Your number

How we handle your number is set out in the privacy policy, including the fact that we do not share, sell, or provide your mobile phone number or messaging consent data to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
